Your account and plans

Your account is how you upload to copium.pics, keep your links and use apps such as Clink.

Sign up and sign in

Choose one of these on the sign-in page:

• Continue with Discord. Your Discord account must be at least 7 days old. Otherwise you see "Your Discord account must be at least 7 days old."
• Continue with Google.
• Email and password. Press Create account. You get an email with a verification link. Passwords must be at least 15 characters. To sign in, enter your Email or username and password. If you forget your password, press Forgot? and then Send reset link. The link goes to your verified email address.

The Discord bot and /calendar only work with a Copium account created with Continue with Discord. Accounts created with Google or an email and password can't be linked to Discord later. A Discord account can add Google or a password on the Account page.

If you already use Discord here, sign in with Discord first, then connect Google or a password on the Account page. To leave, choose Sign out.

Too many sign-in or email attempts in a short time are paused for a while. Wait and try again.

If your account is suspended, you see "Your account has been suspended". If you sign in, you see the reason and can press Send appeal, Download my data or delete the account. This is available for about an hour.

The Account page

Open Account. It says "Sign-in, your plan, notifications and data." and has these sections, in this order.

Overview

Your username and whether you have Copium+ or a Free account. For paid plans it says how you are billed ("Billed through Discord.", "Billed through Stripe.", "Granted by the Copium team." or "Included with" your team's Teams plan) and when the plan renews or ends. "Billed through Discord." only appears for existing subscribers. With a Stripe subscription, press Manage subscription to change or cancel it.

Language

Choose the language the website uses.

Sign-in & security

Shows Discord as connected, lets you connect Google with Connect Google, shows your Recovery email (Verified or Verification needed) and your Password. A Discord account can add Google or a password here.

Changing your password here only signs out your other browser sessions. Resetting it with Forgot? signs you out everywhere and revokes all your API keys and connected apps.

Notifications

Switch Account updates, Weekly recap and What's new on or off. These are sent through Discord, so they are only available for accounts connected to Discord. Weekly recap and What's new also need Account updates on, and you must share a server with the Copium bot and allow direct messages from it.

Privacy & data

Automatic descriptions and tags is on for every account. Copium's AI provider uses a small preview of each upload to write alt text and tags. Turning it off removes the ones that exist. Searching by them is part of Copium+. Download your data exports your data.

Plans

Every plan can upload up to 100 files every 10 minutes.

Copium+ also adds custom embeds, private links (password, expiry and delete after viewing), albums and a profile showcase, view stats, an image editor, folders, tags and bulk tools, watermarks, replacing files, clip tools (compress to every Discord size, trim, GIF and convert to H.264; free accounts can compress to 10 or 20 MB, 3 a day), naming your links, searching by what is in your pictures, and more. The Copium+ page in the app lists everything and shows current prices and the yearly option. Get Copium+ on the Copium+ page (secure checkout by Stripe). Copium+ can be given as a gift. Inviting a friend can give you both Copium+ days.

Copium Teams is one plan for a group. Members of the team get Copium+ while they are on it, and a team can have a shared library. See the upgrade page in the app for what it costs and how many members it covers.

Download your data

Press Download in the Download your data row on Account, or Download my data on My uploads. You get a zip file with the stored, already-cleaned files of your live uploads, plus a file named copium-data.json with your profile, settings, upload details, albums, folders, tags, short links, stats and similar records. Token names and dates are included, but never the tokens themselves. You can do one export every 5 minutes. Otherwise you see "Your last download started a few minutes ago - try again shortly".

You can only do this while signed in on the website, not from an API token.

Delete your account

Press Delete my account on My uploads or Account. It permanently removes your uploads and profile. It also removes your short links (except blocked ones), drops, boards, polls, webhooks and calendar connections. Deleting cancels a Stripe subscription but not one billed through Discord: cancel a Discord subscription in Discord first.

Type DELETE to confirm, then press Delete everything. You see "Your account and images were deleted". Account deletion only works while signed in on the website, not from an API token.
