Apps and integrations
Upload to Copium from Android, the browser extension, Stream Deck, Mac, Linux and FiveM servers, or make a webhook address for other tools.
The Apps page on copium.pics (titled Upload from anywhere) shows how to upload from places other than the website. Windows users can set up ShareX instead. See ShareX and the API.
Everything uploaded this way gets the same safety checks as any other upload and lands in My uploads. Uploads made with a team key land in the team library instead.
Android
Install Copium as an app, then share photos, videos and links straight to it.
Install the app
In Chrome, open copium.pics, tap the menu, and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen). Some browsers show an Install Copium button on the Apps page.
Share to Copium
In your gallery or any app, tap Share and pick Copium. Photos and videos start uploading. Links open the shortener.
Copy the link
Tap Copy when the upload finishes and paste the link anywhere.
You stay signed in inside the app, so there's no token to set up.
Browser extension
The extension lets you right-click any image to upload it, right-click a link to shorten it, or screenshot part of a page. The Copium link is copied for you. It works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox.
- Add it from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Edge or Brave) or Firefox Add-ons.
- Open the extension and press Sign in with Copium. copium.pics opens so you can approve it. There is no token to copy.
- To use a team key instead, paste it under Use an API token instead in the extension's settings.
See Connected apps for what the connection can do and how to disconnect it.
Stream Deck
On Windows and Mac, one button uploads your latest clip (from OBS, ShadowPlay or Medal), a screenshot, or whatever is on your clipboard (Upload clipboard also shortens a link on the clipboard). The link is copied, ready to paste in Discord.
- Get the plugin from the Elgato Marketplace, which keeps it updated, or download the plugin file from the Apps page. The page says it needs Stream Deck 7.1 or newer.
- From the Copium category, drag Upload latest clip, Screenshot to Copium or Upload clipboard onto a key.
- Press the key once, or press Connect account in its settings. copium.pics opens. Check that the code matches the one in the action's settings and press Connect.
- For clips, set the button's folder to where your recorder saves. In OBS that is Settings, Output, Recording Path. Copium takes MP4, MOV and WEBM.
Your ShareX setup isn't affected. See Connected apps.
iPhone, iPad, Mac and Linux
These use an upload token. On the Apps page, press Make a token. It is shown once and filled into the steps on that page. Free accounts have one token, so making a new one replaces your ShareX token. Copium+ lets you have one per device.
- iPhone, iPad and Mac. Make a Shortcut that sends the shared file to Copium with Get Contents of URL, and copies the link to your clipboard. The page gives the exact settings. You can make a second shortcut for sharing links to shorten.
- Mac screenshot hotkey. The page gives a command that captures part of the screen, uploads it and copies the link.
- Linux. The page gives a command that uses Flameshot, curl and xclip (or wl-clipboard on Wayland).
Make a webhook URL
Many tools can upload to a Discord webhook address. On the Apps page, in the FiveM & RP servers section, press Make a webhook URL. You get an address like https://copium.pics/api/hook/YOUR_TOKEN. Paste it where the tool asks for a Discord webhook address, and its uploads go to Copium. The reply looks like Discord's, so the tool reads the link as usual.
Use a separate token
The token is part of the address, and some scripts hand that address to players or other people. The button makes a separate token called "FiveM webhook". It is shown once and copied to your clipboard. You can revoke it on ShareX & API without breaking anything else. Anyone who has the address can upload to your account and use the Copium API as you, including seeing and deleting your uploads and links. Only paste it into scripts you trust. If it may have leaked, revoke it on ShareX & API. Free accounts have one token, so you are asked first, because making it stops your current one.
FiveM and RP servers
The Copium resource for FiveM saves in-game screenshots such as mugshots, evidence and phone photos to Copium. Discord attachment links expire after about a day. These don't. Download copium-fivem.zip from the Apps page.
Install the resource
For screenshots, install screenshot-basic and start it first. Put the copium folder in your resources folder and add ensure copium after it.
Add a token
Make an upload token on ShareX & API (Copium+ can name it "FiveM") and paste it into config.lua as Config.Token. It stays on the server, and players never see it.
Restart
In game, /copiumshot takes a screenshot and puts the link in chat. By default every player can use /copiumshot, and the screenshots go to your account. To limit it, set Config.CommandAce (for example 'copium.screenshot'), or turn it off with Config.Command = false.
Use it from your scripts
The resource has server-side exports your scripts can call:
TakeScreenshottakes a screenshot of a player's screen.UploadImageuploads an image you already have as a base64 data URI.UploadFileuploads a file from the server's disk, such as a bodycam clip or a printed record.UploadFromUrldownloads a file from an https link and uploads it. It takes the same options asUploadFile.
UploadFile and UploadFromUrl need current FXServer artifacts. Images, clips, audio and PDFs are accepted. Besides title, UploadFile also takes filename, mimeType and metadata, and these options:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
path | The folder in the team's storage |
public | Keeps the link public, for a CAD or another site whose viewers have no Copium account |
evidence | Locks the file in the team evidence locker, if the team has it on |
case | A case number to save with it |
Team keys
For bodycam clips and evidence, use a team key as Config.Token. The resource's instructions say to find it under Teams, your team, then the Integrations tab (team owners and admins only). Files uploaded with a team key belong to the team, and don't pick up a member's own expiry setting. Team uploads need the Teams plan. A team key stops working if the member who made it leaves the team.
Team key uploads can keep a public link even when the team library is team-only. Send public = true with UploadFile, or set public for Sonoran records. Use it for links shown in a CAD or on another website, where viewers don't have a Copium account.
Sonoran CAD records
If you use Sonoran CAD's sonorancad resource with its record printer, set Config.SonoranRecords.enabled = true in config.lua (with a team key as Config.Token) and restart. Copium saves a PDF copy of every record printed from the CAD to your team's library, in the records folder by default. Set evidence = true to lock each one as evidence. The printout in game is unchanged. It is off until you turn it on.
Sonoran records are saved with public links by default (public = true under Config.SonoranRecords). Set public = false to keep them team-only.
Anyone with a public link can open the file, even without a Copium account, so only use it for files that may be seen outside your team.
Sonoran CAD can also be connected as an app. See Connected apps. Clink, the Windows clipper, also uploads to Copium. See Share to Copium.
